The Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development seeks to transform how ocean science achieves long-lasting impacts, offers opportunities for robust capacity development, and benefits lives through stimulating innovative ocean research, from co- design to co-delivery, supplemented with capacity building, maximizing synergies, and contributing to the achievement of the objectives of 2030 Agenda.
This regional session will lead to the drafting of a discussion paper to be prepared in close collaboration with the co-conveners of the regional session and contribute to the Western Tropical Atlantic Action Plan.
