Ten Little Pieces is an education and empowerment movement inspired by ordinary folks picking up ten little pieces of litter, anytime, anywhere especially with children involved. This opens conversations around conscious consumerism, resource recovery, circular economic theory, regenerative concepts and solutions based thinking. Through our school and pre-school level education programs, we empower children to take onboard ocean literacy principles and take action to work towards the achievement of the UN SDG's particularly SDG14. We support knowledge acquisition in our younger members of society to facilitate rapid cultural shifts in consumption and solution development.
Ten Little Pieces engages students of all ages in action to protect and preserve local habitats with particular focus on reducing the impact of marine debris and plastic pollution. We are a 5Gyres ambassador, a member of the plastic pollution coalition and a partner of the UNEP - Global Partnership on Marine Litter.
