The third issue of the Ocean Decade newsletter is out! Get your latest updates as we dive into the final months before the official start of the Decade in 2021.
Since our last Decade newsletter published in March 2020, the world has changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Beyond the health, social, economic and environmental impacts of the crisis, the conduct and delivery of ocean science has been hit hard around the world, as governments and oceanographic institutes recalled nearly all oceanographic research vessels to home port, thus affecting our ability to observe the ocean, collect data and deliver critical information for society.
